Celebrating a Decade of Growing and Learning at Creative City!

​It’s hard to believe that a decade has passed since we first opened our charter school doors In Baltimore – to welcome students to Creative City. It has been a fantastic journey filled with many memorable moments of students and staff who made this milestone one we’re thrilled to celebrate. For ten years, we’ve provided a hands-on, unique, play- and place-based education for our K-5 students. Our approach and the community’s support are at the heart of our success.

Being a small school, we have had the opportunity to give each student the special attention they deserve. Our dedicated teachers have been able to form strong connections with their students, supporting and guiding them every step of the way. The result has been an engaged and excited group of young learners eager to explore the world.

Whether planting seeds and harvesting crops or taking field trips to learn more about art, animals, and music, Creative City students are immersed in hands-on experiences. We spark their curiosity and foster their creativity.

During these ten years, we have seen tons of successes and achievements, both big and small. Our students blossom into confident, creative, and compassionate individuals, ready to make a difference in the world—many sharing fond memories with us once they’ve moved on to middle school.
