Volunteers are very important to us at Creative City! Volunteers help further our mission of place-based education. We strongly value the opportunity to collaborate with parents, family members, and our extended Park Heights community. Volunteers bridge the school and Park Heights together to enrich and foster positive community experiences.

Outdoor Classroom Volunteer: Come work in the garden here at Creative City. Looking for experienced and novice gardeners and some heavy lifters.

Facilities Monthly Clean Up - Creative City's Facilities Committee meets on the third Saturday of every month to clean up trash and debris on school grounds. This ensures a safe and clean environment for our students and community members.

Other Volunteer Descriptions....
*Lunchroom - Monitor lunch time activities by assisting students and staff with clean up, demonstrating positive communal meal behavior, and helping students who need a positive break.
Student Outreach – help spread the word about opportunities with our school by distributing literature to area businesses and organizations, staffing tables at outreach events, or doing other community outreach activities
Special Projects – help with occasional special projects including sorting coats and hats during coat swap, sorting food during food drive, collecting & sorting used books for redistribution, etc.
*Classroom - To volunteer in a classroom, please initiate a conversation with your child’s classroom teacher. If you do not have a child here at school and would like to inquire about volunteering in a classroom, please use the contact information below.
