Each Monday, part of the meeting will be working groups in the following focus areas, and part of the meeting will be full group to make sure that all of our work is coordinated. Working groups include: · INSTRUCTION: Refining the way that we teach to make sure we are meeting the needs of students both in-person and virtual, while ensuring teachers are supported and have what they need. · SCHOOLWIDE PROCEDURES & ROUTINES: Adapting the ways we move through parts of the day including (but not limited to) arrival, dismissal, hallway transitions, meals (and more) to ensure health and safety. · FACILITY: Preparing our physical space to safely receive students in this new environment. · COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Proactively providing useful, accessible information to families, selecting ways to share this information that will reach the most people. Also, working to find creative solutions to barriers that staff and families may be experiencing. We recognize and care about the many human needs, questions, and concerns embedded in this transition.
