Congratulations to Mr. Appel![]() PCAB: The Parent and Community Advisory Board for Baltimore City Schools recognized Mr. Appel this month for his dedication to his students! Congrats, Mr. Appel, Plug-In to 2021: New Year Parent MeetingIts time to start the new year right by receiving important information about the continuation of virtual learning, and hearing key ways that every family can support their students' success in school. The same meeting will be offered to parents/family members three different times on Monday, January 4: Parents of students in K-2, 9:45am to 10;45am Parents of students in 3-5, 11:00am to noon Additional evening session, 6:30pm to 7:30pm (If you have children in multiple grade levels, please select the time that works best for you. Content will be the same in each session). These meetings will offer IMPORTANT INFORMATION about attendance, technology, participation expectations, submitting classwork, grading, and more. We hope to see a representative from every family at one of the sessions. Some of this information is new since September. Welcome to the Creative City Connector! This will be replacing Monday Mailer that we previously had for announcements. We're excited to have one place for families to receive their weekly Creative City updates! Report Cards Report cards for the first trimester are now available on Infinite Campus through the Campus Portal (www.baltimorecityschools.org/campus). Instructions for logging in to Campus Portal for the first time were sent home with progress reports. If you do not have your log on information, you may contact our office at 443-642-3600. If you have multiple children, you should see all of their information once you are logged in once. To view the report card, click on "grades" on the left-hand side, and "T1" at the top. You can switch between children on the top right corner. Materials Distribution In the days before winter break, we will be distributing important materials that your child will be using in class in January and February. Please plan to come during one of the following times - note the weekend times that are available. If you ordered Creative City Gear, it will also be available for pick up during these times! Saturday, December 19 from 10am to 2pm Sunday, December 20 from 10am t0 2pm Monday, December 21st and Tuesday, December 22nd from 9am to 4pm Wednesday, December 23rd from 9am-11am ONLY! Winter Break starts December 24th and goes through January 3rd with Monday, January 4th being our first day attending school in 2021! Community School Update Food Pantry To get ahead of the winter storm, food pantry will take place this Wednesday, December 16th, 1pm – 3pm instead of Thursday.
